Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for a high-end, high-speed foil shaver which can be used either wet or dry to give you an ultra-close shave. This feature packed shaver is also well equipped for travel.

Pros:

The Panasonic ES-LV61-A has an eye catching, sleek design with its distinctly large shaver head and slim dark blue body. Ergonomically, it’s well on song with its contoured rubber handle which provides maximum comfort for the modern man. The shaver can be either used wet for a refreshing wet shave in the shower or be used dry.

Powering the shaver is a fast linear motor which operates at 14,000 RPM to deliver high speed shaving without the irritating tugging of whiskers common with slower foil shavers. The adjustable pivoting head flexes back and forth at up to 25 degrees as you shave for superior flexibility and consistent skin contact.

The advanced floating blade system utilizes 5 multi-fit arc blades to provide a large coverage area thus minimizing the time you spend shaving. The blades float independently to adjust to the unique contours of your face for an exceptionally smooth shave. The nanotech blades are positioned at an inner angle of 30 degrees which ensures that hairs get cut below skin level for optimum results. Both the blade and foils are hypoallergenic which means they are suited for people with sensitive skin.

Multiple types of foils are integrated which specialize in handling different types of facial hair. The Lift-Tech foil has reverse-tapered edges which get rid of awkward flat lying hairs. The included travel pouch is of rather poor quality made with cheap vinyl material. We would expect a more luxury pouch for a shaver at this end of the market.
